Domestic Tour to Taipei County

On Arpil 21,2007, Taiwan Chapter of the IAWJ organized a tour to visit the Tung Oil Blossom Park and the Yingge Ceramics Museum in Taipei County. A total of 34 members and their relatives joined this tour. The group first visited the Tung Oil Blossom Park in Tuu-Cherng Township in that morning. After having a delicious lunch at a local famous restaurant, the group did plum pickling as well as pottery making, and watched exhibitions at the Yingge Ceramics Museum. The tour itself was very informative, entertaining and joyous, in addition, it provided opportunities for the more experienced members to mingle with and exchange ideal with younger members; therefore, the bonds among members were strengthened through such happy experience.

Domestic Tour to Tainan

On March 31 and April 1, 2007, Taiwan Chapter of the IAWJ organized a two-day tour to visit the natural habitat protection area, salt field and Eternal Fortress in Tainan, in addition, the tour also included the scenic spots ”Fire on Water” (because of the spring water and natural gas simultaneously ooze form the palisades), Dahsien Temple, Biyun Temple as well as hot mud springs in Guanzihling. A total of 51 members and their relatives joined this tour. One tour bus left the Judicial Building in Taipei at 7:30 am on March 31 to join the other bus waiting at Tainan Dirtrict Court. After a joyful two-day trip, the Taipei bus arrived at the Judicial Building at 10:35 pm on April 1. Although it was a long trip, the tour was a great success, because each member not only enjoyed the beautiful scenery of southern Taiwan, but also had a wonderful chance to get to know one another in private.

Senior Judge of Superior Court of the District of Columbia, Mrs. Evelyn Coburn,who was introduced by National Women Judge Association visited Taiwan on May 31, 2005. She was hosted by our association and Taiwan Taipei District Court in order to visit Taiwan Taipei District Court and Supreme Court. Mrs. Coburn was very impressed by our courts which were highly computerized as well as various services that we offered our citizens.
